This commission provides policy development, leadership, visioning, coordination, communication, and evaluation to meet the educational needs of the total parish community. The emphasis of the Faith Formation Commission is on life-long learning. Meets monthly to plan, support, and enhance religious education for parish youth and adults to better understand and practice our faith.

Children’s Liturgy will be starting again soon!  Beginning September 23,2023  we will again be offering the wonderful program Children Celebrate! for pre-school and early elementary age children of the parish and guests during Saturday evening Masses. 

 
Volunteers are needed!  A few more adult or high school age volunteers are needed to help lead and/or assist leaders once or twice a quarter. Kick off event for all volunteers is September 9 after Mass.

St. Isidore Parish polo shirts are available to order. Choose women’s or men’s, color (black, green or red) and sizes through XXXL. Price is $17 each for sizes up to XL: add $1 for each additional size larger. Please pay when the order is placed. Checks should be made to St. Isidore Parish. Orders will be taken through September 9, and shirts will be available by September 23 in time for the parish festival October 1! Orders will be taken after Mass in the Gathering Space or contact Ann Lorenz (319.560.2560). 

 

 

All parents wishing to baptize a child must register to attend baptism catechesis session in the parish prior to the baptism.

Please contact Cindy in the parish office, 319-854-6141, for more information and to pick up a Baptismal packet.

 

  • St Isidore has a library for all parishioners to use. There is DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, books, etc. that are available to be checked out either before or after mass. The library is located in room 103/council chambers
