The prayer chain provides prayerful and spiritual support to people during times of stress, loss and bereavement.  It is also a source of support in times of great joy and celebration.

Prayer chain members offer their personal prayers to God in petition, thanksgiving, penance, and praise for specific requests made by parish members as well as members of the wider community.

The prayer chain also achieves the purpose of the universal Church at prayer.  By offering up our personal prayers, we co-join wiwth other Christians so that theChurch, as a whole, is always at prayer.

 

If you would like to join our prayer chain email list to pray for others who request our prayers, contact the main office 319-854-6141 or [email protected].  You will then receive prayer requests via email.

If you or someone you know are in need of prayers, let the main office know, and we will get it on the prayer chain.  No details are necessary nor are names -- just that you would like prayers for yourself or someone in need.
